» How do I get a coach hire quote?

Simple and easy is the answer. From the home page of Coach Hire Comparison, just enter where you are travelling from and to and the number of passengers for your journey. Step 2 allows you to enter the dates and times of travel etc. Your job is then done! In the background our unique system is now selecting suitable Suppliers to send your journey info to. They will contact you direct with their prices and vehicle on offer.


» Will i receive an instant price?

Coach Hire Comparison will not give instant prices but our Suppliers will contact you back very quickly with their best price and availability. We aim to give you the best prices, which means an accurate price. There are many variables for every job eg. you may have multiple pickup and drop offs, so you can be confident you are receiving the best price from our Suppliers.


» How soon can I expect to start receiving my quotations?

This depends on what time of day you send your quotation through the Coach Hire Comparison system. Normally you will get a quicker response from our Suppliers during the week, Monday to Friday in working hours but a lot of our Suppliers will respond out of hours too.


» Will I always get 4 quotations?

Our system will work on getting you up to 4 quotations. Depending on the time of year your request is for will determine how quick you get quotations back and also how many quotations you will receive back. However, we can assure you that you will always receive more than one in order for you to make a comparison.


» How will I receive my quotations?

As Coach Hire Comparison is an online service, you will normally receive a full professional quotation online, however this depends on the Supplier and they may make contact via telephone if you have left a telephone number on your request.


» Do I have to set up an account?

Yes you can set up an account at the time you submit a quote request, however this is not compulsory. By creating an account you can track and monitor all quotes coming back to you, especially if you send out numerous quote request via our system then this makes it easy to track prices coming back to you. However if you chose not to set up an account you will still receive quotations back.


» Should I book the cheapest quote I receive back?

This all depends on what your specific requirements are. The biggest benefit whilst using Coach Hire Comparison is that you will have different options to choose from. One quote might be a standard coach and is cheaper than an Executive coach but your requirements might mean that you would like your guests to travel in a higher specification vehicle. Coach Hire Comparison is all about choice and it’s your choice that matters.


» Can I change the journey details after I’ve submitted my quotation?

Once you’ve sent your quotation to our Suppliers you can’t change your itinerary. You will have to speak with the Suppliers who respond back to you direct if anything changes from your initial enquiry or submit it again.


» Why should I book with a Coach Hire Comparison Supplier?

There are lots of reasons for you to book with one of our Suppliers for your journey. You are booking direct with the Supplier of your choice being the main reason. Because you are dealing direct means you normally get the best possible price for your trip and you receive detailed information about the vehicles on offer for your booking.


» How do I leave a review for the company I’ve just travelled with?

Coach Hire Comparison knows when your journey has ended and will automatically send you a request to review the Supplier you travelled with through our review provider, www.trustedtravelreviews.co.uk


» Should I pay for my trip through Coach Hire Comparison?

No, your preferred Supplier that you choose will send you their payment terms direct which should also include an invoice.


» Can I pay cash on the day?

This can sometimes be an option but most Suppliers will require payment upfront before the trip. You will need to speak with the Supplier that you book with to clarify what their payment terms are.


» How can I cancel my booking?

You will need to contact the Supplier direct that you booked with and cancel with them as soon as possible.


» Do any of the Suppliers on Coach Hire Comparison travel abroad?

Yes they do, many of our Suppliers can provide you with international quotations. Please bare in mind that the quote may include driver accommodation, ferry crossing charges etc. Unless you want to arrange these separately, please be specific in the details you provide.


» What happens if the vehicle does not turn up on the day?

When you confirm your booking, the company that you have decided to book with should provide you with emergency contact details or even the contact details of the driver. If they do not then please ask them to supply a telephone number.


» What areas do Coach Hire Comparison cover?

Coach Hire Comparison have Suppliers all over the UK, some areas are more dense than others, however a lot of our Suppliers cover a wide radius meaning we are well covered. We also have numerous Suppliers that travel abroad with international licences.


» What sizes of coaches can I book?

Our Suppliers have an array of sizes and vehicle types. We have some Suppliers for minibuses, large coaches, double decker buses etc and some that cover the whole spectrum. You enter the number of passengers travelling in the search box on the home page and it is from this that your request is only sent to Suppliers who meet this criteria.


» Are the vehicles standard coaches or can I book an executive coach?

You can specify in the notes section of your quote request if you require something specific ie. tables on board, toilet, disabled access etc. However, because our system is all about giving you a choice, a Supplier may provide a quote for a standard 16 seater minibus and also a luxury 16 seater minicoach, they will give you two price options on your quotation form with photos of those vehicles so you can compare the price differences against what you are getting for your money.


» How long is my quote valid for?

This is down to the individual Supplier providing the quote, they may state that it is valid for 7 days. However, coaches do get booked up very quickly and so it is always better to book ASAP to avoid any disappointment.
