What is Coach Hire Comparison’s Payment Protection Scheme?
We now operate an online Payment Protection Scheme at Coach Hire Comparison, meaning that you can now pay for your coach hire safely and securely through our website.
Our Payment Protection Scheme gives you, ‘the customer’ extra peace of mind when booking through our website. It means that we will offer a full refund for your trip if the vehicle you’ve booked doesn’t arrive to pick your party up and no contact was made from the supplier chosen.
We know that paying for a vehicle upfront can be a worry as to whether the vehicle will or won’t turn up. By using Coach Hire Comparison’s Payment Protection Scheme, no monies will be passed to your chosen supplier until your journey has commenced, thus giving you peace of mind that your money is safe.
If, for any reason the vehicle does not show up on the day, you need to report this within 24 hours and a full refund will be given back to you within 14 days.

It’s important to remember…
- To be covered by our Payment Protection Scheme, you must pay for your hire online using our payment platform. This includes both the deposit and balance (if you paid in two instalments).
- Claims cannot be made if you choose to still use the vehicle.
- Claims must be submitted by the individual who made the booking.
- You are only eligible for cover if you book a vehicle with the Payment Protection logo.
