"We agree that we did regrettably have to cancel this job due to a mechanical breakdown on one of our vehicles allocated to this job. We did however manage to give a weeks notice and were attempting to assist in finding another operator to fulfill the job.
We agreed with coach hire comparison (the booking agents used by the client) to still put one coach on and we were awaiting clarification from another operator about borrowing a vehicle to fulfill the work.
However, during the time frame agreed to try and get another coach, the client withdrew his deposit.
We gave as much notice of the breakdown as possible and we were attempting to assist the client"
