"Contrary to most negative reviews on this company, the driver was the best part of this dealing. The driver was nice chatty and not rude as most negative reviews state. He was on time at the start of the day and the end of the day.
Now what went wrong.
1) quotation gives 7 days to pay invoice, yet I received invoice 2 days before the journey, requesting to be paid the same day.
2) bus was supposed to stay nearby as agreed so we could use it for a transfer during the day
3) the bus did not stay and when trying to arrange for the mid day transfer, the bus nor the driver was accessible, not even the lady at McLeans could find or reach the driver, the question is, whether she was "meant" to reach him? When speaking to the driver later in the day, he did not receive any phone calls from me or the office yet both tried, the driver had a different job to do during the day so obviously our mid day transfer request got completely ignored and we were lied on the phone when we were told the driver is close by and will be with us in ten minutes, the mid day transfer was never to happen, almost looked like it was under instruction that the office "could not reach the driver" for the mid day transfer purposes.
I am afraid I will not be using this company again. If you can't deliver what you promise, don't promise it in the first place. Don't lie to customers while using the bus for another job during the day!"
