Marshalls Coaches is a family run business. We opperate 28 service buses and coaches going allover the U.K and Europe. Mr John Marshall the Managing Director,he started the company in 1989 and has worked very hard to get Marshalls the reputation it deserves. We are very proud to be to be a member of the Confederation of passenger Transport (CPT) and we are also equally as proud to be CoachMarque quality assured - there are only around 40 members in the country. All of our front line coaches have air conditioning, seatbelts and are maintained to the highest standard by our own Engineers on site.

"The journey was excellent. All planned stops were undertaken and instructions passed on to the driver. The driver was very knowledgeable about the route and stops and everything communicated effectively. The coach dropped us off safely at the destination and was there when we returned, as he said it would be. Coach was immaculately clean, very comfortable and great looking, but the only downside was that the toilet was out of order. Thank you"

"We had a fabulous journey the coach was warm and clean mick the driver went above and beyond my expectations although the weather on the journey home was abominable we felt very safe with micks driving hoping he’s driving us on our trip to the Isle of Man in March think he deserves employee of the week"

"Hi, this is a question rather than a review but it seemed the best way of contacting you. I commute between Newark and Nottingham every day and usually use the train or car. Both options have their own problems from time to time so I thought I'd try the 90/90A service for a few days instead. The good points first: it was reliable, the drivers were friendly, the cost was a little less than the train and the bus was clean (though very basic inside compared to most modern buses these days).. However...I'm now reverting back to the train/car I'm afraid as the journey time is just too long, it's averaged over an hour for each of my journeys when the equivalent driving time (taking account of the time of day and traffic conditions) would be about 40 mins and the train about 25/30. So, my question: I note you run a express service once a day to presumably cater for people going into Nottingham for the evening, so can I ask why do you don't do the same for commuters? If you just had one service leaving Newark about 7/7.30 in the morning and a return around 5.30/6pm that cut out the villages stops then I for one would use it and I'm pretty certain a lot of other train users would switch too. You obviously already recognise the need for an 'express' service by offering one so why not put it on when most people would want it? Thanks for reading this and I look forward to seeing a speedier service one day!"

"I use the 90/90a service a couple of times a week and think it is one of the most reliable bus services I have ever used. The bus is almost always on time ( give or take a few minutes) the drivers are polite and friendly and the buses are clean. It is a long journey (which can’t be helped) but the cost and reliability means I greatly prefer it to the train. Well done and lee up the good work."

"From start to finish the journey was superb. Coach cleanliness excellent. This journey was organised by my partner and I for a surprise family event, unknown location to our guests. Our driver Lesley was fantastic, well presented, pleasant, friendly and in on the secrecy, joining in to provide false clues as to where we were all going, to keep our guests guessing. "The bus was late but that’s nothing new . There was elderly passengers on the bus and the driver was driving extremely fast cutting corners and being rude to passengers wanting to board the bus"

"The journey to and from Manchester Airport was very smooth, the drivers were early and ready to depart at the agreed times, the drivers were friendly and very profressional, the coaches were clean and warm, on the way back we travelled in a modern 25 seater mini coach it was very comfortable, clean and prestige. I would definitely recommend the company to others and I will be contacting Marshalls of Sutton on Trent again when I need similar transport in the future!"

"We have recently moved to South Witham and my daughter travels to Walton Girls School via the 28 centre bus and the then X22 from Grantham Bus Station to the girls school, this journey works well up until the point she needs to catch the X22, which is late at least half the time, this is the only bus my daughter can get yet due to its lateness she is missing lessons. Have you any idea why this service is so unreliable?"

"Day trip to Donna Nook on 1 November. I just wanted to give some feedback about the trip. Positive: bus driver Lesley. Friendly, smart, helpful lady. She could not have tried harder to make the day a success. Negatives: no toilet on the coach, no toilet when we got to Donna Nook Too many pick up points in central Lincoln going round the busiest roads at rush hour time picking up one or two people at a time. Pick up points need reducing and changing to outside the city centre. For one hour at Donna Nook and 1 and three quarter hours at Horncastle I spent a total of 7 hours on the coach. More than half the people on the trip believed they were going to Louth in the afternoon but we went to Horncastle as there was a market. There were 3 stalls in the market place which were packing up when we got there. I believe with some better organisation and communication this could have been a better day out."

We do not indicate that the coach will be fitted with a wc, and for a journey from Lincoln to Donna Nook, we did not consider a requirement. Toilet facilities at Donna Nook are advertised as being on site, we have taken this up with them. Pick up points... Our day trips have always served the advertised pick up points, which locations do you suggest removing? We do appreciate there are sometimes delays, but without the "one or two " at each point, these trips would not operate. After printing it was noted that Louth market was not open on the day of travel, therefore an alternative was put in place as we are able to do, please see terms and conditions in brochure. The alternative was to cancel the complete trip. The change was communicated via all of our usual media channels."

"My sister and I travelled to the Isle of Man last week with GB Tours. The coach was clean, comfortable and on time.W e were greeted by your driver Damian who was very smart and helpful to everyone. Although he had not been to the Isle of Man before, he researched the places we were due to visit and this helped to make the trips interesting. He had a very pleasant manner at all times and we thoroughly enjoyed travelling with him. He was a credit to your company."

"Was left in a pickle as out usual coach hire company were unavailable, well i am glad they were. With Simons help I had to organise 2 x coaches with various pick ups for a corporate day. I was a pain, but nothing was too much trouble!! Thank you so much for everything! They also helped a little more as i left my phone in the toilet!! :) Now returned safe and sound. Thank you to the drivers and all of the team!!"
