Keeping the image up to date and in the 21st Century….

When any company decides to rebrand, it is a decision that cannot be taken too lightly for more reasons than one.  When you change the look you have had for years, the look that your customers recognise you from, something you have built up you cannot afford to make the wrong decision when changing that image….


Matt Blanks at DJ Coaches researched this back in September 2012 and now in a new year, DJ Coaches have that fresh look that will propel his business into 2013 and beyond.


Coach Hire Comparison caught up with Matt who shared his experience with us and how he came to the decision to make the move in rebranding his business.


“The rebranding in January 2013 is our investment into promoting a new company image, raise our profile and ultimately create more business for the company. A brand that better reflects the modem, contemporary and professional approach that we deliver.


I choose to rebrand for the start of 2013 to mark the Semi-retirement of my father, David Blanks, and mark my Ten Years in business together. Rebranding has been something that I’ve wanted to for a few years now. I felt that, as with most design, things date! So, like our fleet, I wanted a new image that has a very contemporary, exuding style and confidence, and added to the quality feel that our service already provides.


2012 was a good year for the coach industry, so I thought it’s now or never. I worked hard with a Marketing company for about 3 months, throwing back and forth ideas. When I found the flavour of design that I liked, we began the same process again but with colours and fonts!


As a family business we understand how important it is to spend time with your family. Ever since being in business with my dad, we have always closed for two weeks over Christmas and New Year so that we can relax, phones off, nothing on the road, nothing to worry about – Recharge! We make it a mandatory period that staff have to save/take holiday, and work is quiet over this period anyway so makes sense. This year was a little different given the rebranding. We used the period between Christmas and New Year to rebrand the fleet!


I am very pleased with the results and proud when I see our coaches on the road”.
